中国中车研究院捐赠KN95呼吸面罩并致以良好祝愿

In late March 2020, amid the pandemic outbreak of COVID-19, our collaborators from the CRRC Institute pays close attention to the health and well-being of all our members of the Chinese-American Railway Transportation Joint Research Center (CART-JRC) at UIUC, and sent their best wishes. On hearing about the shortage of mask supply, and in the hope of helping us during this difficult time, they promptly mailed 1000 KN95 respirator masks to CART-JRC from China and asked the center to help distribute them to our affiliated faculty, staff and students. After distributing these masks based on needs, CRRC Institute and the Center decided to donate a significant portion of the respiratory masks to local hospitals at Champaign.

2020年三月下旬，在新冠肺炎全球爆发的情形下，中国中车研究院密切关注UIUC中美铁路联合研究中心（CART-JRC）全体成员的健康与安全，并送来了真挚慰问。在得知口罩供应短缺时，中车研究院迅速从中国邮寄了1000个KN95呼吸面罩，并委托我中心将物资分发给与CART-JRC有联系的教授、工作人员及学生，以帮助UIUC同仁渡过难关。在将口罩按需分配后，中车研究院以及联合研究中心将一部分口罩捐赠给了尚佩恩当地的医院。

Despite such a difficult situation caused by COVID-19, the strong support from our CRRC collaborators are heart-warming, which not only enhanced our belief and confidence to overcome this challenge, but highlights the prospects of building up an even stronger partnership between CRRC and UIUC in the future.

面对新冠肺炎疫情流行的严峻形势，来自于合作伙伴中车研究院的鼎力支持令我方深受感动。这不仅增强了我们战胜疫情的信念和信心，更展现了中车与UIUC在未来进一步深化合作的光明前景。
